Vintage 3-Drawer Wooden Bedside Chest with Cabriole Legs

A small piece of furniture with far more personality than a flat-pack bedside table. This vintage three-drawer wooden chest has elegant cabriole-style legs, decorative drop handles and the kind of aged finish that gives an older piece its individuality.

Its compact size makes it useful as a bedside chest, lamp table or occasional storage piece, and it could sit just as comfortably in a traditional room as it could beside more modern furniture.

Condition: this is a genuinely pre-owned vintage piece with substantial age-related wear, scratches, marks, fading and areas of finish loss, particularly to the top and drawer fronts. We have not tried to hide that. The photographs show the actual piece, including its drawers, construction and worn areas, and should be treated as part of the condition description.

Why we saved it: the wear can be restored, embraced or incorporated into a new look — but the shape, character and craftsmanship are already there.
